Transfer Talk LATEST: Arsenal outcast to make Levante switch?

Levante are tracking the movements of want-away Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh.

La Liga outfit Levante are monitoring the situation of Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh, after the striker’s disappointing spell in England.

Chamakh has never quite broken into Wenger’s first team, and he struggled to oust the likes of Theo Walcott, Olivier Giroud and Lukas Podolski from the Arsenal starting XI last season.

The Morroccan was sent out on-loan to Sam Allardyce’s West Ham United in the January of 2013 in an attempt to get him fit, however he failed to score in his two month loan spell.

Real Betis are also rumoured to be Chamakh, whose future has become increasingly unclear at the Emirates following the speculation linking Gonzalo Higuain with a move the Arsenal this summer.

Manager of Levante Joaquin Caparros is also thought to be tracking former Wigan Athletic striker Franco Di Santo, following his summer release this season.
